Who are we?

Express Words is run by Peter Hawkins, a former journalist turned communications manager who advises on external, internal, digital and strategic communications.

We specialise in helping small to medium business and other organisations fill gaps in their communications and public relations capacity.

Peter worked as a journalist and editor in France and south east Asia before turning to press relations and communications for a multi-national arts, culture and education organisation where he worked for six years.

He is a member of the CIPR and focuses on Birmingham and the West Midlands.
